Ohio KBS Hunt

Have a bomber of three Floyds toxic revolution if u want to trade for some kbs

 

I was able to get a 4 pack at Lucky's Market they got 2 cases and sold it by the 4 pack.

 

I have an extra KBS if anyone wants to do a small trade in cleveland area. Looking to try a bottle of BCBCS if anyone has an extra of the 12 oz bottles.

 

Is that the coffee one? I hate acronyms. I have a bottle that a buddy and I will split soon if you want to join us. We are West side, Strongsville/Parma Heights.

founders offered me a free glass of KBS at one of their KBS events in columbus .

 

If you really want a bottle of KBS you can have one at Studio 35 for $10 at the bar but I would wait till it's on draft at the few places named on this forum.

Dairy Family on Kenny and 5th had a case just sitting on the floor. I had a friend stop by but he was too late. Someone saw it and probably was overjoyed.

 

Wow, I don't know why I thought all the excitement was this coming week. Guess I am glad though. I went to Founders, got a couple of 4pks but would have been running from store to store just to get a little more.

 

I didn't get any KBS this year, but to be honest I didn't really try. I did, however, ask about it at my local grocery store after work on Wednesday. They said their case was sold within 10 minutes. No real surprise.

Another guy asked for KBS while I was there, then asked for beers that are like it. He was pointed to Dragon's Milk and indicated that he'd never heard of it or tried any other bourbon stouts. Dragon's Milk! He'd never heard of it! But knew to ask for KBS...

The key going forward (if you don't want to chase trucks and time deliveries) will be to stay content with year round beers of excellence or keep ahead of the plebe curve as long as you can.

 

Had little thought of getting a bottle of KBS this year since I didn't want chase it earlier this week. I went into a store today to grab a six pack and when I was at the counter I asked out of curiosity how long it took them to sell out of KBS, to which the clerk responded by pulling a bottle from a box behind the counter and added it to my purchase. So if you haven't landed a bottle yet, you still have a slim chance!

 

THANK YOU...I can't comment on the taste & I am a Founders fan but ANY of these hype machine driven beers are just ridiculous not to mention the retail stores, especially the little ones working the customers over.

 

wish I could make it in time I'm sure it will be sold out by the time I'm off work. definitely enjoy though drink 3 for me

 

I got two bottles from Whole Foods in Dublin, and that's easily enough for me - I'm more interested in hunting Black Note when that drops.
