Ohio SB48: Distribution, small brewers & AB-InBev

After already passing a law which lowered the annual fees on microbreweries, the Ohio Senate has streamlined a bill which seeks to prevent breweries from owning interest in distribution. Of course, this has upset AB and the future of their ability to control what beer goes where in the state. Governor Kasich met with AB-InBev reps today, but hopefully with an overwhelming campaign by craft brewers in the state (and their fans), their lobbying will be for nil.
