It's become a "semi-regular" event dependent upon the brewery responses or releases. The best way to stay in the know is their FB page or the firkin brewery. Cheers! ;)

Before you get too stoked Matt realize I meant prize old ale (which is still great I've boughten a few). Regaurdless I think Freeman's is by far the best place for beer in OKC. Not sure why everyone here loves broad wine wine merchant so much (it's definitely better than most places however).

Chase, I haven't heard a word about Gold, but the label
is pretty sexy. Is this just yer standard Belgian Golden Ale?
Like a strong Ale, A la Cuvee 1 & DNR? Or a Pale Saison?

Chase when will Prairie Noir hit shelves?

I'd call it the lovechild of a Berliner Weiss and a super funky Saison.

I'll pop a bottle of noir Middle of next week. If the carb is right, I'll ship. Otherwise I'll hold it a week. Hop and Standard will ship for sure next week.

    Sounds incredible!
So how long of a wait on Gold?

On another note Prairie Ale is drinking very well right now
& probably will continue to do so.

Not sure on Gold. Its going to need a couple of months. I've got 5 different barrel aged beers I'm working to get out in March. Setting up a collab with Saint Somewhere too. Going to try to have that out for the craft brewers conference at the end of march.

Bob has worked with me on my saisons over the last couple of years. Got me a job offer with a brewery in Fl. I ended up turning down.

Always bummed to see this thread on the second page. Who's going to be at biergarten tomorrow? Would be cool to say hello to some of you.

On another note finally broke down and bought a fantome hiver tonight despite the general bad reviews. Lets just say I wish I had bought almost anything else. Got a good laugh out of biergartens review after my first few drinks... Had to make sure I didn't get a bad bottle...

I'll be there. I'll have stout to sample, let you see the two reasons I'm holding it back for a couple of weeks.

Just in Tulsa, the wholesalers for OKC couldn't get a truck to pick up till Monday. Stores in OKC will see it Tuesday.

Had them both tonight, loved them both. Bought a bunch at the Biergarten and had a blast. Who else enjoyed that amazing time?

Just had an amazing tasting w/ some OK BAs in Lawton, OK. Texahoma gets/produces some world class beers! This is a bold statement, but the "worst" (all were stellar, not dissing their quality) beer there to my tastes was the Heady Topper I brought. Loved the Choc Gose, the Mikkeler hoppy christmas, and the Beer Geek Rodeo

I think Pat was just trying to be modest. The Heady was very good, at least I thought so!

Ya it was great, enjoyed it a few times before too. Just wasn't my fav amongst those in the tasting we had.

What kind of beer is Standard? And is Mustang's raspberry imperial stout coming out soon?

Prairie Standard is a 5.2% hoppy saison on the sessionable side. Pretty delicious in my opinion.

Second. Quite a bit of yeast still in bottle, just makes me smile to have a session Saison readily avail. all the time.

We packed this batch a day too early, the new bottles that hit after the first of the year will have little to no sediment.
