Not had any of the OK relesae, but I would take it over Hopslam, especially at the price point right now

It's very good. That said, the new Pyramid DIPA is also very good. I've been going through packs of both and see nothing to complain about with either.

I concur with you Tim, it's hard to believe how good the Pyramid is

Hard to believe it's that good and from Pyramid, anyway.

I mean, nothing against Pyramid, but they haven't had a beer I've thought I needed to buy in a good decade.

Agreed, I haven't seen much from these guys I've liked since the late 90s...

Yes it is, found it in Byron's (2nd beer row toward the front, they moved everything around) and Freeman's (sitting at the front counter on the left) I have to say it is one of the most funky/sour beers I have ever had. Cheers ~

    Fantastic!
I have heard mixed things about it (either complete hatred or adoration; nothing in between)
& am excited to try it for myself. Same price as TROIS?

This one is pretty pricy. If you find it you can bet its more than I am charging and if its NOT you better grab all you can. I am selling it for $13.99. If you pay more than $14.59 you are paying WAY too much! I don't see how anyone could hate this beer, its amazing. If you do I suppose ALL Wild ales are not for you then. Cheers!

haha good to know. I'm cracking it open after dinner this evening.
I paid 13.95 at FL, so If it's more than half decent, I'll probably swoop
a couple more bottles. I've heard of other stores charging what
comes to be 15-16 after tax. I won't be shopping there.

The concept of this beer is pretty alluring to me, simply
because I've never had anything remotely in this 'ballpark' & it's
been long awaited since i heard talk of this beer early last year.

Hey guys, I am signing up to captain a team BIF that requires 5-8 people. Let me know if anyone is interested in jumping on board. The link to the BIF and rules is below. If you have any questions, shoot me a message. If you've never done a BIF, traded or been to one of our crazy tastings this is a great way to get your feet wet.

Who's wants to play? It's gonna be awesome!

    Cheers,
    Captain Herf

I put up a post a week or so ago but I realized it might be better to just put it in this thread...

I'm headed to Paris, TX for Memorial Day weekend. I was curious if anyone knows of a half descent place to get beer in SE Oklahoma? I'm willing to drive as far North as Mcalester, I'd also be willing to do an inperson trade with anyone in that region if at all interested?

I'd like to pick up a little COOP or Redbud... but really any OK breweries.

Thanks for any and all help,
    -Matt

Matt, its going to be very difficult in SE OK as several counties are dry in that area of the state. Mcalester may be your best bet but im not sure what specifically you'll find there... I believe there are a handful (at least 1-2) BA's from that region of OK that have posted in this forum before. Good luck!

I just stopped into Byron's and they have it going for $11.79/bottle if you are really looking to stock up.

That doesn't seem possible. Biergarten has it for $13.99 and "If you find it you can bet its more than I am charging."

My nukka! You're on the team! Did you read the rules on the post link?

Just talked to Will who is also on board.
We need at least 5 and up to 8 people on the team, so at least 2 more but I would love to have 8.
Who else?? 500 oz/5= 100oz each, /8= 62.5 oz each. If more of you Tulsa area BA's want to participate, we can definitely have the tasting up yer way!
