I don't go to OKC beer shops much these days so I'm not much help there. You may find cool stuff at Republic even though I'm not really a fan of it's modern gastropub vibe. Tapwerks has "cellar menu" which you have to ask for. Items on that menu can be pricey.
Where will you be staying in OKC? Bricktown/ Downtown? OKC is one of the largest cities by area, everything is very spread out. You'll find all of the Prairie mainstays as well as other very good Oklahoma-only beers. Look out for Coop F5, Alpha Hive, TROIS (doubt it is still on the shelves), Choc Gose, BBQ, Roughtail IPA, Hoptometrist (limited), Elk Valley Pale Ale (the Zombie Dust of the South), Nemesis, Old Grizzly, Marshall Arrowhead, Revival Red, Anthem Uroboros, etc. OK has a lot of good stuff out, try a few different things. I know Prairie is probably the only thing that trades, if that's what you're after, but I think there's several other breweries making just as good, if not better beers in Oklahoma. In other words, if you're only looking for rar prairie stouts brah, you'll probably only find Bomb and Noir. Pirate Noir has come and gone. You may still find some Ok-Si stragglers around. Norman Spirit Shop- Main Street & Berry. Excellent selection, nice staff, fair prices. Sometimes rare/ bottled limited items are behind the counter. Just ask. The Cellar- Main Street & University. Best selection in Norman plus a great wall of singles. Higher prices. Helpful staff. Fun place to burn an hour and cash. South OKC Moore Liquor- I35 & SW4th (Roughly, about a mile west of I35). Probably the lowest prices, save Byrons (see below), you'll find. I don't think you'll find anything particularly rare unless you're there 10AM on a release day. That being said, they have some of the best selection in OKC you'll find. Downtown/ Bricktown Byrons- I235 & 23rd Street. Good selection (not great). Lowest prices in OKC, by far. Rare stuff does not sit around at Byrons. Best to go if you're trying to load up on mainstays (Bomb, F5, Pale Ale, etc). Staff is nice if you're nice but sometimes they won't know what you're talking about. Be specific and ask for someone who can help you with beer. Interesting crowd. Broadway Wine Merchants- Broadway & 8th. Good selection, very high prices. Best chance to find something limited because their prices are higher than most. Very nice and helpful staff. Most rare stuff is on the counter, you can't miss it. Sometimes you'll have to ask if something just came out. Midtown Sams- 63rd & May- Good selection, less frequented than others. Good prices. Sometimes rare stuff is behind the counter. A little disorganized in the way the beer is displayed but it works. Freemans- 43rd & Western- Great selection, fair prices, very nice staff. They know their craft beer inside and out. Their store gets lots of foot traffic. Used to be my go-to. Sean's- 6969 (nice) NW Expressway. It's out there but they'll have a good selection of brews. High prices, sometimes a little too high but it gets a little less traffic than others on this list. North OKC/ Edmond The Well- Kilpatrick & Lake Hefner Pkwy. Great selection and knowledgable staff. They'll have some good stuff at fair prices. I've only been a couple times but both times I found what I wanted. You can probably call them and ask if they have certain beers. 2nd Street Wine- 2nd Street (duh) and Broadway (roughly). Good people. They've got a nice selection of beer at fair prices. That should be a good starting point.
That is Awesome! Thanks for all the info. I am actually only flying in and out of OKC and spending two days in Lawton. But since there doesn't seem to be too much in Lawton I figured I can stock up on OKC. Would love to bring some rates back but if they aren't to be found them so be it. From what you laid out there is lots of good stuff to be had. I may still bring a couple things out that way to swap. Not looking to make monster swaps. Just bring some local craft that you guys can't or don't get in OK.
There's a thread in the SW forum about good places in Lawton. You may actually find some good stuff in Lawton as it doesn't get any traffic. Moore Liquor will be your best bet as it's pretty close to the airport.
Check on their Facebooks/ Twitters for hours but check out: Roughtail, Coop, and Anthem. I know 405 brewing started recently in Norman but I don't think they have tours/ a brewpub. Roughtail is the one I'd suggest. Have to warn you, breweries in Oklahoma are not the same as those in states with liquor laws not written during prohibition. You'll likely find a few tasty brews and good conversation but you may be better off looking to a bar or restaurant for better beer. I'll eventually get around to writing a little blurb about bars in OKC but, since you're in Norman, check out: McNellies Abner House and Pub W. Both are above average for a college town but not like anything you'll find in OKC. If you want some OKC suggestions, let me know. (you should make the trip to OKC).
I like Oak and Ore in the Plaza District. They have 30 something craft beers on tap and Micah, the owner, is very conscientious about the beer he serves.
Heads up to OKC folks. Boulevard Love Child #5 $7.95 a bottle at Freemans. Just marked down because they had too much stock.
