Headed to OKC for the weekend. Looking for some spots to hang out and have a good beer or 2. Anybody have a suggestion or 2 of places visit.

I really liked Republic Gastropub, but it's been a little while since I've hit OKC. I wasn't super impressed with Tapwerks, but others are & who knows they may have cleaned some some beer lines since then:wink:

I'll second Republic Gastropub. I also enjoyed McNellie's when I was there a while back.

I enjoyed that McNellies (parking is a pain around there), but go the one in Tulsa all the time, so I forgot about it

I rented a bike (one of the bike share ones) and rode from downtown so I can't speak to parking. There is a station at McNellies OKC to park the bikes at/rent one for the ride back. I don't think it was much more than a mile or so ( though I ride a lot and use the bike share things in most cities if I have enough time)

I suggest Mcnelllies or Tapwerks over Republic. Just an aesthetic preference if you will.

Tapwerks historically has been a disappointment, however, since McNellie's opening and now Republic, the last few times I've been I've seen a big improvement. They have really stepped up their game. Didn't notice anything that would suggest dirty lines(anymore) and they still have the best overall selection in town that I'm aware of.
