If you're in the OKC area RoughTail & Anthem are your best options for tap rooms, but stay on the look out for anything from COOP's Territorial Reserve Series or Elk Valley Brewing as well. I really don't know much about the Tulsa tap rooms other than Prairie, but Dead Armadillo & Marshall both have places up there as well, and Prairie should have a tap room separate from the brewery in downtown at some point in the next month or two based on the last info I heard on the topic.

 

R-Bar, McNellies & The Fur Shop are on my short list.

 

Went to 2 of those 3 today, the R-bar and McNellies. Both good beer and food. Worth going to both. Two different neighborhoods though.

 

Prairie's Brewpub in Downtown Tulsa is open. Went the the other night, had some great food and drinks, loved the atmosphere. I highly recommend it to anyone coming through the Tulsa area.

 

Good to hear that it's open now. I was at the brewery 2-3 weeks ago and the guy working the taps wasn't 100% sure how much longer it was going to be till the brewpub was open.

 

Roughtail's Adaptation Ale#3, very tasty ( per usual ).

 

The latest release is actually #4. The #3 was back in January. I think #3's hoppier now than the current release. Both are great. Cheers!

 

I was going on their descriptors on their website, but if it is indeed 3, it has held up great? Not sure, I noticed I knocked my dating sticker off before I had a chance to figure it.

 

Perhaps I was focusing too much on the haziness? Would it kill them to put a sticker on it to let you know???

 

My stickers are still on but you can also tell by the color of the ring or can holders. 1.26.16 is fluorescent green like the label color & the 5.17.16's are purple. Hope that helps? Cheers!

I've been wanting to try RT Adaptation 5.17.16 since it was released 3 weeks ago, but I haven't had time to go by the store or the taproom. Good to hear that it's as good as the other Adaptation Ales though.

Well I may not be competing with ya. My wife was supposed to pick some up, but I don't think she is going to work there this week, since a big ass truck crunched her car

 

well that isn't good. I plan on going to the store on Saturday and seeing if there is anymore left. I know the 1 4 pack my daughter got is probably in jeopardy having been in her position for almost a week. Let me know if you want me to grab you any

I missed out on the Adaptation 3, when my daughter went looking for it a tool that worked at a downtown liquor store sold my daughter a 2nd Anniversary Ale that was a year old. Told her to never go back there again, Collins has been doing her right since then.

 

Russpowell or Donspublic, any luck on finding this left around town? I'm visiting from Houston (a Tulsa native) but a few places I've checked confirmed they have sold out. Any tips would be welcomed. Thanks
