[Coming back from a long layoff ...]

Having turned 70 earlier this year and having been a U.S. beer can collector since I informally began in 1973 or so, I have been gradually downsizing my collection for a number of years. (In the mid-1990s, I had 5,000+ cans, when I lived in a different home and had almost unlimited basement space.)

I now currently have about 100 of my old favorites in our living room (with my wife's blessing) and I added an overflow set of shelves in my small "home office/library" with another 200 or so older cans. I have been selling these "overflow" cans for a couple of years and the "empty shelf syndrome" has emerged.

As I face my own mortality, sooner or later, I don't want to saddle my wife with worries about disposing of any extra classic cans "when my time comes", I decided to refill those empty shelves with craft cans from my home county in Georgia (Gwinnett) and 12 oz. U.S. Oktoberfest cans. Thus far, I have about 80 home county cans and about 200 Oktoberfest cans. I think I'm only missing about 3 Georgia Oktoberfest cans. Anyway, if "my time comes first", as minimal cash is involved, she can donate or recycle the craft cans.

In closing, are there any Oktoberfest collectors interested in swapping cans?
