Oktoberfest Release at Black Forest Brewery

    FYI,
    Just released last night a malty Oktoberfest with a slight hop finish at the Black Forest Brewery in Ephrata, PA. There were only 6 1/2 kegs made as the brewer has a 3 Barrel system. This is the brewery's 1st Lager on their system.
    Get some while you can and IMO better than the bigger and older breweries in PA and surrounding areas.

    Sounds like a great tip. thanks. The 'Kranz has Barock Dunkel, Hofbrau Keller, Vitus, and Weihenstephan Pils on tap right now.

    And the Sierra Nevada/Riegele collab fest, which was somewhat mild.
    It's a little lagery around here right now.
