Has anyone else noticed in the Jersey Shore area most of the beer is over a year out of date? I am not talking about Stouts and wee heavy's that can take it, but Pilsners,Lagers,IPA's. This is after checking out 6 major beer retail places-

Call the breweries that made the beer...they care more than than the distributors...and if you see something you like and you're willing to take a chance ask for a discount up front. Whenever I see that here in SC I'm just a pain in the ass to the store owners until it's off the shelf.

Even Stone brewing which is supposed to support fresh beers, wrap their 6 packs in cardboard with no date other than the can- They advise you to report it, but are complicit in hiding the date-
