Picked up a bottle (1 pint, 6oz) with no date. The bottle has gold wax and the label says 14% ABV. Anyone know what year this is? Thanks.
I am sure someone else can confirm, but I think the 14% abv version is 2011. The "other site" seems to indicate this as well, though I wouldn't take that as gospel.
Hmmmm, def a tough one. They used to label everything in Canada as 11.9% which was obviously not correct when the same year's vintages showed up in the US as 14%. I'm pretty sure you're looking at something pre 2012 though if there is no date on it. Unless the bottles they shipped south had no date on the label for multiple years. OCD hasn't hasn't had gold wax in ages here, you likely have a 2011 or 2010.

Based on some facebook page stalking, driftwood has a OCD label from 2011 which lists the year under the title and notes 11.8% ABV. My guess would be 2010. but as above, not sure if there may have been different labelling requirements for bottles sent south
Still unbelievable that a beer with the name Cellar Dweller doesn't have a proper vintage/year dating on the label or bottle.
I've seen these bottles at a Total Wines in the Seattle area. Driftwood left WA what, three years ago now?
