Eiraphiotes Wondering how this beer is holding up? Anyone try it lately. saw it at quite a good price (compared to the original) at a couple of local spots wondering if its worth picking up.
It's actually taking it's age very well! Drank one about a week ago and the chardonnay has expressed it's self very well at this point! It's got a good amount of fruit from the Chard., but not overwhelming enough to detract from the clean malt of the pilsner. If it's on a good deal and you know it's been stored, at least sort of well, snatch that puppy up!!
Had one about a month ago, I enjoyed it fresh and I enjoyed it with some age on it too, still thought it was a very good pilsner, not worth the new price but if you can get it on sale then go for it!
Had one in the last month (maybe Superbowl Sunday) and it was still drinking really well in my opinion.
