Old Oerbier

    How old are the Oerbiers that yall have stashed?

    I have several at 3 years but am curious about what kind of hording is going on out there?

    I pick up three bottles to age every time I see a new bottling date available -- my intent (based on bottles I've had going back to the 80s) is to age most of them for 10-15 years. I probably have 50+ bottles of Oerbier aging right now ranging from 2012 (haven't seen any 2013 around yet) back to the mid-80s. The ones right around the reintroduction of the sour culture (2005ish) are just developing a good tart characteristic... makes me optimistic for the future.
