OLD Old Howling Bastard

    Found some 2008 on the shelf, anyone aged this for any length of time? What are we thinking for how well it might have held up? It has a waxed top, maybe it helped. It's super cloudy though.

    It's a barleywine. They're pretty much all good for aging for this length of time, and more.

    Post a picture, I've never seen it with a wax seal before

    Bottle is the same as what's pictured in the link above, but the wax is blue.

    I'm a big fan of this beer but I've only had it fresh. I'd def snatch up a bottle of the '08 to try and if age has served it well then I'd go back for more.

    I'm going to give it a try before I go to grab what's left that I can find. Hopefully it's not skunked.
