Old Rasputin BA verticals

    I know I might be beating a dead horse...
    But has anyone traded a vertical recently or a X?
    As you all have seen over the past year + I have been coming up empty handed with getting what I thought was fair trades done for this. Then when I changed it to "well since I get crickets, send me offers" which promptly got deleted as being an auction. So I guess this is the only way i'm able to get some sort of answer to this without another deleted thread/ban threat.
    I have 2 verticals. I'm keeping one for myself, but i'm sure there are others that would like a complete vertical. What have these gone for?
    Thread shit all you want. Tell me all you want that X is downhill and not worthy anymore... I don't care.
    I have no problem keeping both verticals but was hoping I could eventually send one off so that I don't have two verticals...

    Having just had an XI less than 12 hours ago.... I'd be shocked if X were downhill.

    I enjoy the beer, but what I think hurts the ability to trade it, is the fact that it's fairly costly. It's one thing to trade $20 worth of locals for an XV, but when you're talking X, XI,XII,XIII,XVI, XV, you're looking at $120 worth of beer just to even $4$, and then you have to factor in the difficulty/rarity of X/XI and XII to an extent.

    yar. thanks for the insight. at first I was trying to just trade the X, but was getting crickets, then I thought putting it up as the vertical FT with the option to split up would help... but nadda. and it's definitely not a $4$ trade, though =/
    I have had all the beers before, too (all multiple times except the X). I'd say XI is drinking best at the moment. Had X a couple months ago for the first time. While it's not the best, it's still not oxidized or tasting like crap like some people have responded to in the past to my FTs.

    Most of the time I think it's harder to move an entire vertical because you're probably going to run into people that just want the X and XI.

    Not sure what the X would be worth alone. Probably somewhere in the middle between what you think it's worth, and what your potential trading partner thinks its worth. :wink:
