    Howdy

I just bought a six pack of rodenbach. Did not notice till I got home it has a best before 10 06 2010. I think this beer ages and should be good still . It is the basics rodenbach ale aged in oak vats. Any input here let me know. It was pretty cheap at $14.49 a six pack. Will I be tasting anything odd here or it's still good to go. I have a feeling I should have bought more. Will try it Sunday once it's cold.

    Enjoy

It'll be fine. I don't think it changes a whole lot since it's pasteurized. I'm pretty sure Rodenbach bottle dates are two years before best by.

Thanx. Did not realize it was pasteurized. Is it normal to get beer this old at a pretty large volume store? I date check ipa and some others but never looked at these? Is the grand cru pasteurized?

    Thanx
    Enjoy

Heres my review of the same "vintage". Cliffs: Doesn't change or improve, just holds up pretty well. With that said its still tasty as all hell, especially on a hot day!

After I bought my six pack I did some research and I thought the best by date was out three years. It could be two years though...

I have two bottles from 2006, had one recently and it was still quite good.
