Old Stock Cellar Reserve - Brandy Barrels

Just bit the bullet and bought one. $22 at lake wine. Said brandy barrel right on the label. I know how much saga I could have bought, but this is for my b-day and has been on my want list since 6-16-2009. Not many of my wants can be found on the shelves anymore.

Obviously joking, glad I can send business there way, Paul and the staff are great. I should look into investing in that place.. I need some ROBI (return on beer investments)

 

I did the same thing (at the Haskell's in WBL which I work right by). Looked at it and went "nope can't be it different bottle". Then came to my senses when I saw the price of that in a 500ml vs the 750ml regular right next to it and put 2 and 2 together. Haven't tried it yet but I have a Bourbon and Brandy now, could be a fun night.

 

Has anyone seen this on the shelves latley? Wouldn't mind picking one up to try...
