Have a possible trade (not on BA) and claims this to be a late 80's Westy brewed at St-Bernardus. Label seems to support this, cap apparently says best before 1990. Unsure of cellar conditions which makes me want to pass the on the other hand, friggin' curious! Thoughts?

    It's probably an oxidized mess.

It is not a Westy...it is a St. Bernardus, or as it was then known St. Sixtus...check out the history of St. Bernardus here...http://www.sintbernardus.be/geschiedenis.php?l=en

Aside from that, I can't speak to the conditions etc, but I would be wary.
