Olde Hickory Event Horizon

I saw it at Custom Home Pubs in Matthews, NC recently -- but that's a long way from Myrtle Beach.

 

Jim, if you can't find any still hanging around the shelves (you'll have to find it in NC as I don't believe EvHo distributes into SC), I can help you secure a bottle or two.

 

Think you could help me find any Lindley Park? I don't know if I can wait until the next release before having it again, haha.

 

While you're here, make sure to grab some bombers of NoDa Brewing's newly-bottled Imperial Coco Loco. It's good stuff.

Sadly, I've only got a few of these left after sending out quite a few from this past year's release. Given your location, should be relatively easy to secure this fall though.

Total Wine won't have either EvHo or Lindley at this point. Brawley might though I can't remember seeing it there recently. The only other place I can think of that might still have either is Macs and that's because they are probably asking $35-$40 per bottle.

 

I went to Brawley's, Vintner, Good Bottle Co., and Salud this past weekend and I didn't see either sitting around. It is possible I overlooked it, but I'm pretty sure if either of those had been sitting around they would have caught my eye (and I would have left no Lindley behind). I'm going to be royally pissed if one of those was sitting out and I missed it.

 

I'm telling you guys, check Custom Home Pubs. Didn't see price tags, though.

They said on the phone they had 10 bottles, but that'll be down to 7 here after I go get mine.

I live in Raleigh so I had my family go and scoop me two bottles of the EvHo, I already have two bottles of Lindley Park that I got from Common Market in Charlotte last year, so I didn't ask about LP. My dad said that the bottles of EvHo were refrigerating which I would prefer they wouldn't have been, oh well, guess they'll be drunk pretty soon.

Common Market, either Charlotte location, will save cases (of suitable aging beers) and put them on the shelves months later, so its kind of hit or miss sometimes. When I was in Charlotte over Easter, they had 2012 bottles of White Oak. I found the Lindley's six months after the Olde Hickory release of them. It's a good place to go in and check out to see what they have.

 

I know of a magical place with a cellar that has all of "said", slumbering happily! With a little drive you could check your wish list off pretty quickly, and going from beach to the mountains, ain't to bad either! I'll be glad to help ya' out on your search!
