Olde Rabbits Foot release, is it really dead this year?

For the past couple years, starting around the BA Sexy release, rumors spread that there won't be a batch of Olde Rabbits Foot due to issues with certain breweries. They pushed back the release a couple months last year if I'm not mistaken but thankfully we got our precious bottles. Once again this year, right on time, the same story is buzzing around the NC beer community. I've been told by some reliable sources, including a few local reps, that it's "Really not gonna happen this year." Anyone care to discuss whats going on and shed some light on whether or not this awesome beer might have finally died... for real?
