Just curious how hard it would be to track down some older Grand Reserva. Has anyone been trading in the '05-'08 range(or even older)?

A good amount of 06 hit the shelves around here in Mass back around November for about 10 bucks a bottle so it shouldn't be too hard. I only grabbed one bottle unfortunately.

I think 05 Reserva is on shelves in IL, but not the grand Reserva.

In my experience, the regular Pannepot is the best of them all.

05 Grand Reserva is on the shelves by me.
09 Reserva is on the shelves by me.

Oh, maybe you're right. Maybe I've seen 05 grand and 08 Reserva.

I grabbed an '05 in Schaumburg on Saturday, and I'm curious about compiling a vertical - so I was just wondering what it was going for, nowadays.

Also - I picked up the last bottle from that Binny's

I realize this thread has turned IL centric, but if you really want to complete the whole vertical West Lakeview liquors had (at last check) Pannepot 2011, Panneput 2011 (Danish Version), Pannepot Reserva 2009 and Pannepot Grand Reserva 2005.

I was able to have a friend stock me up quite well on my favorite non Trappist quad and its variations.

    Cheers!
