bought a couple bottles of older viscosity today at sabatinis in PA. the labels have black writing instead of the iridescent blue and the cages for the corks have lost abbey crosses on them. the yellow writing which I assume would tell the age is so worn i cannot read it and the peopel i bought them from did not know... any idea on how old they may be???
I have a hand numbered Old Viscosity ("Port Brewing Solana Beach") with Tomme Arthur's, Jeff Bagby's and Tom Nickel's name on the label. It's a 750 ml bottle and the label talks about how they have been brewing together for 5 years. I have no recollection of when I bought this - does anyone have any idea of how old this is?
i should have asked you... the other guys were not sure. best place ever. if I lived in the valley I'd eat there at least 3 times a week. best pizza, wings and beer selection in pa.
