I had a DKML Friday night and it made me chuckle thinking about the guys that have posted that beer early in WBAYDN? threads. Better men than me for sure!

I have found that I think I get the most karma after I add a beer. But who knows. One of life's great mysteries, like whether the earth is round or not.

 

I suspect the karma bonuses for one's posts being "liked" by others was greatly reduced, because for quite a while it was obvious the users with the most karma were also those who posted most in the daily WBAYDN love-ins.

 

I will be traveling to Treehouse Brewey next year and I plan on enjoying what i can. Glad to see you back.

How is that even possible? I thought there were things that automatically gave karma, like being here a year, first post, or certain minimal things that guaranteed a low volume user would get a couple karma points to at least poke them into discovering the system.

i'm not well versed on the karma scoring or how it has changed over time. I was definitely a beneficiary of WBAYDN "likes" contributing to my karma.

 

it was never about the points for a lot of us as is evident by some of the individuals posting here. We definitely got hammered on WBAYDN. Anyways, enjoy your return @calir1
