i did a quick search and didn't really see anything matching...

I'm planning a bachelor party in Omaha in dec. it's going to be one day so not much planned except casino (ameristar?) and head to old market for some grub and brews. The bachelor wants to hit up a brewery that serves food and then check out a couple bars after. There will be around 14 guys I believe. Would you guys suggest upstream for the brews/grub stop? Any fun bars to check out in old market? Most of the guys aren't big beer geeks so not necessarily looking for a beer bar but a place where we can have a good time and entertain our buddy before he gets locked down. Thanks

Sorry just to add is upstream a fairly low key place? Looking at the pics on their site it looks a little more upscale but the pool hall might not be too bad....

Just replied in the other thread before seeing this one. Upstream likes to pretend it's upscale, but it's ultimately pretty casual. I don't keep up with the Old Market party scene, but at this point I'd imagine that just about any bar you wander into will have something for just about everyone. You'll have a good time just bouncing around I'm sure. House of Loom might also be a good stop once you're feeling loosey goosey.

Great thank you! I'm going to reserve some space at upstream tomorrow, cheers!

It wasn't my bachelor party, but I actually hung out at Upstream in the Old Market the night before my wedding (with my groomsmen, dad, cousins, etc.) back in the day. It was a great location and very laid back.
