On my way to Omaha today and Des Moines tomorrow. What's the keys to getting good beer? Best shop / bar in Omaha and same for Des Moines. I hear El Bait Shop is awesome in Des Moines. Also what are the locals I need to try this time of year?
Shit, wish I had seen this earlier. For Omaha go to Crescent Moon for draft and Beertopia next door for bottles. In Des Moines go to El Bait Shop for draft and the Hyvee on Fleur for bottles after hitting up EBS. Cheers! Edit: Maybe Before EBS...Can't remember when they close.
