Brickway is very good. Pretty hit or miss on much of their offerings.

So they are either very good, or hit or miss. Which is it?

Good catch...typing faster than my brain works. Pretty hit or miss on much of there spirit offerings. They are a brewery/distillery.

I will add Vis Major to the @chitownfanatic21 brewery list. Mostly IPA's and fruited sours/saisons, pretty tasty pizza.

Benson Brewery has average beer but fantastic food if you're hungry. It is right down from Krug Park which was mentioned as a good beer bar option.

To add to his beer bar list, Cunningham's typically has a really good beer list for an Omaha beer bar and they cut zero corners on their pub fare. They do a great job.

If you're closer to midtown, Crescent Moon is another beer bar with a typically good tap list and worth stopping, but pretty bad food. Go next door to Farnam House brewing to eat, average beer but great food.

Agreed. If you're picking one Nebraska brewery to visit, Boiler is your choice. Especially if you like big stouts.

If you do decide to spend some time in Lincoln, there was a thread in the last couple months where we gave some solid recs for beer and food. I'm biased, of course, but I think Lincoln is definitely worth a couple trips, even if you're just going to grab some crowlers from Boiler. For packaged beer, I think Moran's in Lincoln has the biggest selection of singles in the area, but most Hy-Vees are stocked pretty well and you can't go wrong with the Casual Pint in Omaha.

Boiler is an absolute. It's in downtown Lincoln but is absolutely worth the 30-40 minute drive.

Maybe designate a driver or book a hotel for a night there too, Lincoln is fun and the next morning there's some great breakfast spots to kill your inevitable massive hangover.
