you probably needto go there more than once in order to see and rate the hype. for whatever reason, the place is filled on weekends and lines are formed before opening (weekends). i hear they serve good food and good music.. i still have yet to experience any bad service there. but on your point and mine, both irrelevant.

more seats for me and my crew.

Haha, I'm glad you enjoyed. I aim to please.

It would be tough to justify going to buy all of these Tuesday releases, and I am sure there are a lot of misses, but I imagine it's only a matter of time until they hit something with one of these that the whole BA world is going to cream their pants for.

Does anybody else wish that FFF would just get their regularly distributed beer back on shelves?

Been there a handful of times over the years, never really got what people were complaining about, but who knows, maybe I was just lucky. My last trip was the first time I had been there since they had the "shop". Seemed very convenient and effecient, or at least my experience was. I wouldn't pay $35 for the cognac moloko, but I don't begrudge them for selling it. I think of it the same way I do when I see all the tiny $15 and $20 Mikkeller and Evil Twin bottles. If they start jacking up the price of ZD or GH, then there might be a problem.

I see your point for sure, but I think the issue is that to charge a premium price for something you also usually need to justify that premium somewhat. If other places are releasing barrel aged beers at half the price and FFF does nothing to justify that high price people feel like they are being taken advantage of. I have no problem with paying a premium for something if Im in fact getting a premium product, but I need to at least see some of the reasoning being the pricing, I need a little justification. Otherwise it just looks greedy...IMO

With that said I really don't care what they do, I'm all for the price it for whatever you want and dont buy it if you dont want to. I'm just saying that with what they're currently doing is why people seem to get upset about it.

I will say this though their current pricing strategy has affected my desire for FFF beers though...Im betting Im not the only one either I cant say this is making them look good

I have to say honestly that from what I've heard and my experience that's not a problem thats exclusive to FFF.

Was it that short thin brunette girl?! I was there last week on a monday around 230 and me and two friends waited about 7-10 minutes to even get menus and there were only 3 tables seated in the place!

I will be there having a couple of "lunch" beers today and picking this up for sure. Love Cognac barrels.

I saw the same text on a sign at the To-Go counter at the brewery. Cue the 'DURRRR...I CAN'T BELIEVE THEY ARE CHARGING $35 A BOTTLE FOR SOMETHING THAT THEY ARE ESSENTIALLY SAYING DOESN'T TASTE ANYTHING LIKE THEIR 'REGULAR' BEER...' type responses in 3...2...1...

They posted this mostly because it's now "cool" to go to FFF and most of the "bro crowd" have no idea about beer and what barrel-aging is. Obviously, this wasn't meant for those who know a thing or two about beer (BA and RB crowd).

Same thing as Moto charging people 325 dollars for a total of maybe 14 ounces of meat, and 15 ounces of vegetables. BUT IT'S SCIENCE AND MAGIC SO IT'S OKAY.

If I had paid $35 dollars for a bottle of battle priest and opened bathwater, I would have been PISSED, and felt like a huge fool... but then again, we all make mistakes some times. I also thought that this year's dark lord tasted like shit dipped in brown sugar, so who am I to judge? If you guys want to keep them in business by shelling out WAY too much money for beer (5 cents per ml...), then it can't do anything but help make people who charge honest prices look better, so I'm all for it.

Also, before you guys say "UR A H8ER, U JUST DNT UNDRSTND AND/OR R POOR!" I love a lot of FFF beers, and understand that they should charge whatever silly ninnies want to pay... I just think that it's sketchy. (I am poor though)
