    FATAMORGANA
My parents came from Ethiopia to Sweden in the 70’s and got two kids. Me and my brother.

Over the years I have gone down to Ethiopia many times, partly to seek my roots but also to experience the wild nature that this incredible country has to offer. A memory that is particularly vivid to me was a time when I – in the middle of the dry savannah landscape – suddenly stumble into a patch of palm tree jungle within which an oasis was hidden.

This is the place where the work with Omnipollo Fatamorgana takes off.

Drawing inspiration from the fidelity of a Saison – rustic, alluringly cloudy and crisp – this double IPA (8%) was brewed using oats and wheat. Dry-hopped twice with Columbus, Centennial & Citra for maximum enjoyment.

    Henok

Snagged a bottle of this last week. Can't wait to crack it open.

Had this on draft at Salud in Charlotte, it was fantastic!

Over the past weekend my local shop got some bombers of this new Omnipollo DIPA. A friend let me taste some, thankfully seeing as how they were priced at 16.50 a pop , and it was amazing. Had my first full pour last night on draft and I can honestly say it's easily in the top 3 IPA's I've had. Super unfiltered grapefruit bomb that is a strong contender against Heady or any other highly acclaimed DIPA in my opinion. Also, the draft was $7 for a 12-14oz pour which was a lot more reasonable.

I couldn't agree more. Personally like it more than heady topper, but i'm a sucker for citra hops!
