Boulevard. I could drink Tank 7 and Long Strange Tripel everyday, maybe mix it up with Love child or saion brett on the weekends. Their seasonal Imperial Stout is one of the best IMO, same with love child and tank 7 for the styles. They can make some ok beers, but their smoke stack series is solid.

Bourbon County for BA, although Backwoods Bastard is up there; as a deep appreciator of Belgian Quads and Dubbels, no American versions do it for me. Not an IPA man, so I'll abstain.

This and I wouldn't take the time to try and second guess it. IMO, Sierra Nevada is the epitome of what craft brewing is about. I've been to the end of the lines when it comes to whale-hunting and extreme beers, but I find myself more and more reaching for a good ol' SNPA, Porter, Stout, and/or Torpedo (or Celebration when it's available). I've never had anything I openly disliked from them and the vast majority I've thoroughly enjoyed. Hell, if I could only drink one beer the rest of my life, it's SNPA all-day-every-day. i

I've got not doubt they could nail a big BA stout if they wanted to

Well, that's a rather limiting list of styles. If I'm picking the best of those OP-mentioned styles which I will actually drink, I'd say these...

Barrel aged: Thirsty Dog, for Wulver. Immense ABV that can't be tasted, only felt in the belly; exceptionally complex flavor profile based almost entirely on malt and the barrel; and a distinct lack of hop-forwardness.

Belgians: St. Bernardus, for me, with Rochefort a close second. If it has to be from North America, nobody I've tried comes remotely close to Unibroue.

All that being said, if I'm forced to declare allegiance forever to a single brewery, it'd be Ayinger.

Not for the categories in the OP since they're not my favorites, but if I only had one brewery's beers to drink it would be Deschutes or Bell's. I'd really miss a few beers from SN and Founders though.

I gotta go with Boulevard Brewing Company in Kansas City, MO. They have all the popular styles you would expect from a really good craft brewer; KC pils, unfiltered wheat, pale ale, many IPA variations, porter, etc.....but what makes them really special are the Smokestack Series; Long Strange Tripel, Saison Brett, Tank 7 Farmhouse Ale, Love Child and Bourbon Barrel Quad just to name a few.

Sierra Nevada must also get honorable mention as a truly outstanding brewer, I have never had a "bad" beer from these guys.....even styles I don't normally like are good when they make it.

I'd have to pick Oskar Blues... they may not have as wide a breadth as some others but what they do makes me sooooooooo happy.

For me it is Maine Beer Company. Every beer I have had from them I have enjoyed, this is the only brewery that I can say this. However i don't really like nor have I had a Belgian by them.

I'm intrigued, but it's probably going to be outrageous in price though.

I'm surprised you're the first one to mention the need for a local option. I'd probably have to look at something at the most an hour away, nothing better than driving out to your local tap room.

    Deschutes.

New Glarus, Firestone Walker, and Brooklyn would also get consideration.

After Toppling Goliath get's their sour program up and going, I'd vote for them (and yes, according to this article, they are working on a sour program). They make the best barrel aged stouts and best hoppy beers in the US if you ask me. Add sours to their lineup and they will rule them all.

In the meantime, my vote goes to Firestone Walker for sure.

My initial reaction would be Founders. But after reflecting variety of styles offered and what I would drink from them throughout the year, I would go with Left Hand. For everyday drinking, the polestar, marzen and sawtooth are very good. Their nitros are awesome, the dopplebock and st. vrain tripel offer great german/belgium alternatives and of course the milk stout doesn't suck. Only thing missing from their lineup would be a solid sour.

Plus they put out new inventive beers have access to the best hops, including the neo Mexicanos variety. My choice if I had to go with only one. And you missed mentioning their Torpedo
