Heading to Boston on a Sunday in June for an overnight and leaving on Monday midday. Trying to maximize my beer experience while staying within the city. Staying near Faneuil (sp?) Hall. I am bringing an extra suitcase to mule beers home that are unavailable in Virginia. I was thinking dinner at a solid restaurant with a great tap list, maybe the Trillium garden afterwards, and possibly hitting a bottle shop nearby that I can load up with some good stuff.
I'd be interested in getting feedback from the locals - thoughts on a bottle shop that's somewhat nearby (uber-able), restaurant options, and should I go out to the Trillium brewery to buy cans?
    Thanks!

Hit Trillium in Fort Point, it's their original brewery. Super small and no tastings, but the same selection of cans as Canton. Then next door is arguably the best beer shop in MA, the Fort Point Market. As for food and drinking, the beer garden is a great idea to enjoy some fresh Trillium. Right next door to their brewery is Row 34 which always has a great tap list and top notch seafood. On the other side of Faneuil Hall towards the Garden is the Tip Tap Room which is another great spot that's walkable for you. Honestly too many options to list...

You can't beat the aforementioned Trillium Fort Point, Fort Point Market, Row 34(assuming you like seafood) trifecta. If you can squeeze in the Trillium Beer Garden first that'd be sweet.

I'll also mention that Gingerman is near your hotel and has an excellent tap list. Stoddards isn't far either and Gordon's Fine Wines across the street is a solid beer store. Boston Wine Exchange is another store near your hotel. Saus is a small restaurant by Faneuil Hall that has good beer, sandwiches, poutine etc. Kinsale and The Merchant are close bars as well.

Honestly, buy all of your take home beer at the Fort Point Market (besides Trillium, which they don't carry but is next door). Fort Point's prices are lower than pretty much everywhere else in Boston, including the local breweries themselves. And the selection is fresh and top notch.

If it isn't beer garden weather, it's a fairly inexpensive uber out to Night Shift's taproom as well. Huge space and they always have a ton of drafts. Mystic is probably even closer and has a smaller taproom feel. But NS is probably the gold standard for local taprooms at the moment.

I'm going be in Boston on Monday and Tuesday of next week. Will have limited time to venture outside of meetings but will have a couple hours Monday morning and Tuesday afternoon to checkout a location or two and pickup stuff to bring home. Good info above on Trillium. Sounds like the Fort Point location is the way to go instead of Canton. Is that correct? I'll be in Newton.

Also it appears Tree House only has their retail shop open for can purchases Wed-Sat so I'm out of luck with Tree House. Is this also correct?

treehouse has the not-so-secret releases on Tuesday. its on their website but they just don't blast social media. Both canton and treehouse are about an hour from boston with no traffic. Fort point from newton is like 15 mins with no traffic and you'll be in and out unless they announce the night before that they are releasing a collab or something. You can also check out craft beer cellar in newton if you're truly pressed for time.

Thanks for the feedback. Looking more at the Tree House website it appears that's out of the question. My flight is leaving on Tuesday at 5pm and Tree House doesn't open until 4pm. Trillium it is.

Go to Craft Beer Cellar in Newton. Maybe stop in at Marty’s in Newton. Go to Trillium in Fort Point. Stop in Fort Point Market next door to Trillium and Craft Beer Cellar 2 blocks away. Go to Flour in Fort Point for cookies and sticky buns. Easy 10 minutes from Logan. If extra time pops up for you, consider heading to Mystic (careful - a short distance on map but the Boston road / traffic vortex can mean it can take a surprising amount of time).
