Great stout from Spiteful, a very new, very small Chicago brewery.

 

Waiting on the last of the nectar from this year. Will get tomorrow and ship by Tuesday. Sending south. To someone that hasn't gotten a box yet

I sent that one. And the GFY stout is pretty damn good. The only beer I've had from Spiteful so far- but if its a sign of things to come, they're gonna make some tasty beers.

 

Chicago has a couple really great new breweries like Spiteful. There's Pipeworks, which was mentioned in several "best new brewery in 2012" discussions, and Begyle is another very new one that seems promising. If you want to read more about Spiteful, an interesting write-up is here. Hopefully, I can introduce my target to some of these guys as well!
