Glad you enjoyed it, that snifter is the perfect size for big beers, I hope you get lots of mileage out of it!

 

How did that go for you guys? We got there around 2:30 and were told a 2 hour wait. Got some beer to go then turned around and went to a local bar for food.

 

My buddy that was driving wanted to leave early, so we got there just before they opened. Tried some draft stuff with a jerk chicken sandwich, went on the (disappointing) tour & bought some bottles.

Have you had Blot Out the Sun? I had it for the first time & thought it was awesome.

 

no i haven't. How was the chicken? I love me some jerk chicken.

 

It was great, spicy enough but balanced with big chunks of pineapple. Tasted damn fine with a zombie dust...I know what I'll be dreaming about for the next week!

 

On a related note, I've almost killed the box I received already.

Only a couple left: FW XVI and the Smutty Zinneke.

Well, I was hoping to pick up two more wants for my target this weekend when I was in Chi but was unable to find either. I did however find another of his wants from a different brewery, and a beer from the brewery that makes the two I couldn't find, that I hope he'll like. This might be a hint if it makes any kind of sense.

Anyway, I'll be picking up a few more things this week and shipping next Monday the 24th.
