    In Flagstaff.

Went with Mother Road and Historic. Mother Road was decent but I really dug Historic. Their Ocean Front Property Lager was fantastic, IMO.

Yea I feel like Historic gets underrated. Not sure why. I like a lot of their beers and it’s a quality set up.

My family will be camping in Flagstaff one night this summer on a Route 66 roadtrip. Historic's taproom is literally a stone's throw from our campground. Is it a kid friendly place? Maybe a better way to put it is do they have some craft soda options we could offer the kids while the wife and I enjoy a beer or two?

Hello everyone! My girlfriend and I will be visiting Flagstaff from Los Angeles later this month (20th to the 25th) for some bouldering at Priest Draw and maybe hitting some spots up. Superstition Meadery is far, but is going to be a stop. Is the mix of Wanderlust, Historic, Mother Road, and Dark Sky still the best spots to hit in the Flagstaff vicinity?

    What about near Superstition?

I would avoid the late night bingo place - my son is still scarred by the existential angst that perfumed the air.

Superstition Meadery is in Prescott I believe. Think there’s a couple breweries there but nothing great. Prescott Brewing and Granite Mountain.

If you'll be in Prescott, I would spend some time there outside of Superstition. The whole downtown area is pretty cool and historic. Prescott Brewing may not have the best beer in the state, but the food is decent and the building it's in is worth checking out on its own.

Thanks for the recommendation, everyone! We're gonna try to bring some goodies with us to Flagstaff to share with brewers, so feel free to drop in.

I'll likely pick up some cans to go when in Prescott on the way in/out of Superstition, as I think we want to maximize climbing time...hopefully.

If you are going to Prescott check out Park Plaza (not a brewery but the best beer and liquor selection in the area!!!

If you go to Sedona check out the newest brewery in town (6 weeks in) Sedona Beer Company(open thu-sun).

Great food and first batch beer on tap!

Got a couple of 32oz. growlers of Monkish's Double IPA made with all Nelson hops, so I'm totally down to share a growler with people.

Thanks for the recommendations, everyone! Dark Sky was pretty good. Jeremy was a class-act, as was all the bar backs. Ended up enjoying lots of beer with the crew there. Favorite was probably the Fresh Hop IPA or the ESB they collabed with Wren House.

Mother Road's Kolsch was pretty damn good too. I could drink tons of those.

Going to be in Flagstaff Friday and Saturday with the family (wife and two young kids). Any recommendations on a nice dinner restaurant that hopefully has something decent to drink?

    Best bottle shop still McGaugh’s?

Any recommendation on a bar or restaurant to watch football games? Hops on Birch was great when I went there a few years ago but can’t recall if they have TVs. Did Majerle’s as well once which was alright.
