One Place, One Event, One Beer

Last week I re-visited the former General Lafayette Inn reborn as Barren Hill. It was surreal to say the least. Pondering said visit gave me a great idea for a fun thread. One great memory for me at the Gen'rul was watching the Phillies win the '08 World Series there with great BA friends and drinking their Alt! Who Goes There Altbier.

So, my fellow BAs. Please add a beer destination associated with a memorable event and the beer that you were enjoying at that time. This should be interesting.

FYI: I chose the Mid-Atlantic Forum since the beers will most likely be regional to keep it familiar.
