A rare weekend off work, so had a go at uploading photos, went through beer tasting notes and after a pizza delivery am supping Emergency Bitter, the ideal beer if you’re avoiding the radiation of nuclear weapons tests in Nevada or stuck at the top of a condemned Ferris wheel in Hammersmith.
After this Lost & Grounded’s Hop Hand Fallacy, Fierce Squrl, a classic Westmalle Dubbel & finish off with a Torrside Imperial Cardinal one of their Monsters range.

    Tonight’s classy beer tasting

Starting with a can of relaunched Tetley Original Bitter, now even before the relaunch Tetley was being brewed in Northampton & I had a pint of cask, reminded me of Tetley brewed at Warrington which was far inferior to the Leeds stuff, which shows it was going on even back in the 90’s.

Then Wilderness brewery’s Biere Ordinaire so I have a good quality bitter, then Fierce’s Maple Pancake Beer & Torrside’s Impending Sense of Doom, a pleated Red Barleywine that is part of their Monsters range.

If I remember correctly, Bevis, you live in Altrincham? I’ve seen today that blackjack are delivery bag in boxes and mini kegs and your area is on their list.

I also had the two new Hop Foundry Aldi beers last night, Hop Stepper & Hop Till you Drop & there is more hops in the name than the beers, sigh.

Trying the new "Harpers" Golden Ale & American IPA from Aldi,
I say I'm doing this because I'm addicted to ticking but I think that I secretly hate myself.
But not as much as I hate fake breweries.
