I consider myself a porter/stout guy, though I haven't found myself drinking too many of them lately because I've been trying out new things (in particular I've had a few barleywines lately; interesting). I think I also find myself drinking a lot of IPAs and DIPAs because I do enjoy them and there are a lot of them out there.

I don't drink one style. I drink one beer: St. Bernardus Abt. Makes life much simpler.

I go through phases in which I'm obsessed with certain styles - in the fall it was Oktoberfests, since it's been Belgian Tripels and BSPA's, now it's kind of sours, last summer it was IPA's of all sorts. So I rotate my obsessions but even during a particular phase, I'll break out for a bit into the other styles.

I like to try too many beers for this. I might get into a phase where I only drink one style of beer in a sitting, but in general, I love trying new&different things

If I ate as much as I drink beer maybe. Usually only drink on the weekends.

Nope. Good beer deserves to be drank. As others have said. I definitely go through phases where I go all in with certain beer types as they come in to season. But I also get into good chewy stouts and love a Founders porter during a stupidly hot summer day.

There's only one style I WON'T drink: malt liquor.

I drink mostly IPAs, but also drink stouts, porters, pale ales, ambers, browns and an occasional pils. I tend to be attracted to the hoppier examples of these styles though.

I have a pretty heavy leaning toward "big" beers. Imperial stouts are at the top of my beeramid...followed by barleywines...followed by old ales, wee heavies, porters, etc...but I'll give most anything the old college try...and I tend to enjoy IPAs a bit more frequently during the warmer months.

My friend is like that...only drinks pale/IPA/DIPA. I can only imagine how destroyed his palate must be. I drink everything, with an emphasis on pale/IPA/DIPA

Limit myself to one style? No way. Had a barleywine, IPA, American black ale & strong ale yesterday. Really enjoyed the variety.

Love this analogy... I don't limit myself with specific styles. I do however cut off a good number of craft breweries because I'd rather drink nothing than have one of their beers. I won't name names but they rhyme with Liftbridge and Magic Hat.

I go through phases where I'm in to one particular style, but that fades after a few months and I'm on to something else. It's never to the exclusion of another style, though. There's too much great beer out there.

I do have a friend that will only drink IPA's and won't touch anything that isn't hoppy. He hates malty beers.. go figure!?

I drink pretty seasonably. In the winter I'm a stout/porter person. But come warmer weather, the last thing I want is something heavy.

We're so lucky that we have such a variety nowadays. Why not take advantage? How do you know you don't like a certain style until you try it?

I don't wear the same outfit everyday, but I do wear a button-down collared shirt and dress pants to work every day...

As in, I primarily drink IPAs and stouts, but the variety within those 2 categories is massive.

(But I'll mix in a barleywine yearly when Bigfoot and Insanity are released)

I always have 5-6 styles on hand to satisfy my cravings, only because my wife won't allow me to have 5-6 differents styles of women on hand. It's a downer but she rules and I'll be happy with my beer and my wife.Cheers
