    Used to be 70% Wheats, 15% Stouts/porters, 15% everything else.... then I became a BA. Now its like 45% hoppy beers, 25% stouts/porters, 10% wheats, 20% other.

I go through phases. I'll check out a lot of stouts, then move to wits, then check out some weizenbock, and move along to IPAs. Then I'll take my cart and pay for them...

I'm very stout-centric. I'll admit it. I'd say, I consume stouts about 85% of the time. It's not that I'm boring or don't try other things, it's just that a good stout just tickles my fancy much more than a good ale...
*one exception. Sucks. Me likey very much.

I don't "limit myself," but the last x-100 beers I've had have been either IPAs or Porters. 80 - 90% of that is IPA/DIPA. My SO is JUST NOW getting into 'hoppy' Pale Ales, but is absolutely obsessed with IPAs/DIPAs, so the lack of variety is somewhat due to company. The only reason Porters are in the mix is because it's winter, and they usually start with "coffee" or "chocolate" or both. Anything involving beer and/or coffee and/or chocolate is on my YES list...

I will, however, try ANY (craft) beer you put in front of me. I just don't usually buy it.

I like variety. But I love it dark, stouts & porters...but the fridge & the cellar always have a decent mix.

I go on little spurts where all I drink is one style, usually lasts a month and then I'm on to another style. As I try different styles I decide what I like and add it to the "usual rotation."

    Beer? No, love them all.
    Liquor? Whiskey/Bourbon/Scotch
Wine? Is there anything else but red?

I sometimes don't even drink one style when I have 2-3 beers. I often switch from a pale ale of some sort to a pilsener. I've gone IPA --> pilsener --> stout for fun once, just to try it.

If somebody loves a style so much that's all they drink, good for them. There's something to be said for knowing what you like. But part of why I drink beer is to try as many different styles as I can find. I have preferences, but I still want to try it all.

If the only beers available to me were either pilsners or american pale ales, I wouldn't complain.

To each his/her own. Some people just like certain things. I used to and still try to sample a lot of different styles. But I have to say though that I mainly drink IPAs these days. They are my go to's. But I also like to try some stouts and flavored porters and others that I haven't tried yet. Find some gems. Maybe it's a security thing in that people stick with what they like and don't want to go outside of their safe circle? Some just aren't as adventurous. That's ok. Just enjoy your own styles and be hoppy..

My go-to styles are Imperial Stouts/Stouts/Porters, DIPA/IPA/PAs, Barleywines, Quads, Tripels, and the ever glorious American Strong Ale!

Could I live with just drinking one style? Maybe with Stouts or IPA's... Would I ever want to? HELL NO

I'd get bored. Prefer malty beers overall, but I appreciate a well-made IPA every so often to cleanse my palate. Plus I usually drink whatever seasonals are out, makes beer drinking something to look forward to, never get palate boredom.

I'll definitely get on an IPA kick, or a porter kick, etc., but I don't limit myself to one style. Saisons, however, are one style I just can't get into.

I drink a lot of Pale Ales, IPAs, Stouts, Imperial Stouts, Sours & Saisons. I do enjoy DIPAs, but I so rarely find fresh ones to buy off the shelf and I like to drink lower ABV beers when out (unless it's an event where the DIPAs are featured).

Drink seasonally, its the only way. Nice bright hoppy stuff in the warmer weather. Heavier richer stuff in the colder weather, also best time for breaking into the cellar. Not to say I don't have heavy stuff in the summer and vice versa but i do use it as a guildline

It wasnt always like this. But, I do occasionally have a beer with dinner during the week but that's pretty rare. Probably only about 3 or 4 times out of the entire month but even that's on a good rare month. A majority of my drinking is done on Fridays and Saturdays. No big reason, just life. Pretty busy work wise and then my two kids with their after school activities. By the time we are done, I am beat and ready for bed to get ready for my 4am wake up to start it all over again.
