Ontario Craft Pilsner Recommendations?

    I mostly drink Belgian Trappist beers—Chimay, Westmalle, Rochefort, Orval. But in the summer I sometimes enjoy a refreshing pilsner. I would be interested in hearing any recommendations for local Ontario craft pilsners I should try. Any suggestions would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance . . .

    Tooth and Nail's vim and vigor is an exceptional czech pils. Any lager made by godspeed tends to be good to very good. I really enjoyed the czech pale lager from Slake.

    Where do you live @soloflyfisher ?

    If you are in the GTA, there is none better than Godspeed. Nice Czech style pilsners, a great Dortmunder and other fine lagers.

    I also like Bellwoods lagers. Isar was out recently which is a favourite of mine.

    Some of the Muddy York lagers are pretty good too. Also, Burdock makes very light lagers that are pretty flavourful. Both worth a visit.

    Three Sheets Slo Pitch Pilsner is really good.

    I haven't tried it yet, but I'm told Fairweather's - Donna is exceptional. Another one I found was great was Paris Beer Co.'s - Mill Race.

    I will also echo Tmappin Tooth & Nail - Vim and Vigor is great as well.

    Town Brewing in Whitby has been shooting some killer IPAs for a while and now has been releasing lagers as of late of all different styles and dry hopped versions. Worth checking out if you live near. Cheers.
