So I brewed about 2 weeks ago and had 3 packets of .5 oz hop pellets left over that I planned on using for dry hopping this week. Today I noticed that I sealed two packets properly in the freezer, but a packet of Chinook has been sitting open in my refrigerator for 2 weeks. Wouldn't usually be concerned if it was going into the boil, but seeing that I'm using it as a dry hop I was a bit concerned that it would break down quickly as it has been exposed to air for two weeks. What do you guys think?

Open as in a plastic bag? Either way smell them and if they smell good (aromatic) like they do fresh I would use them.

Given that these are pellets, I would think that two weeks will not greatly affect these hops.

    Cheers!

What do they smell like? What color are they?
