Long story short, had a deal set up with a guy and he shipped first. Box made it to my state but something had leaked/broke in route so FedEx sent it back. He said he would make it right and have another bottle to ship since there was only one damaged. Communication and all have been sketchy since. He claimed he was going to ship almost a week ago. I havent received any tracking or anything of the sorts. Trying to still be cool about the whole thing, I simply send a message asking if we are still good and whats going on. He reads it but doesnt respond and has been on everyday since then. Im not playing games. Simply send me a message saying give me a little time or whatever the situation would happen to be. Im an easy-going guy and understand things happen but to keep reading my messages and just not responding at all, thats where I draw the line. Now I have an open trade with him because he did ship his first box but it never made it here. I am not looking to bash him or call him out, thats on him. Im assuming he wouldnt leave me negative feedback since I havent even had a hand in what has happened here but you never know how spiteful some people can be. I just want out of the open trade feedback. Any advice as to what I can do here? For verification, I will gladly show a Mod/Staff Member the conversation.
If neither of you leave feedback the trade will go away after 90 days. That is probably the easiest thing to do if he doesn't respond.
You should leave fb. His behavior is boorish & irresponsible. Other traders deserve to know this prior to deciding to trade with him. One could reasonably argue for neutral or negative. That's ultimately your choice, but please do leave the fb you think it deserves. Todd & the mods have been very clear that retaliatory fb is not tolerated. IF he leaves you retaliatory fb it will be removed & he'll be banned.
I agree 100% with @JavaNoire ..I would also send said trader a link to this thread you started about him...I mean seriously, be a man and respond..
Im with you @tommyz... I think @JavaNoire is right. Looks like thats the right route to take at this point. Thanks for the Input guys.
