I've only been aging beers for a couple years now, and my basement stays pretty close to 55 deg. From what I understand, I think this is a good temperature, but was curious about people's thoughts on this. Are all types of beer good to age at the same temp? I wonder how temperature differences affect certain beers... For instance, if I kept one BCBS at 55 deg for three years, and the other at 70 deg for three years, what differences would I experience?

You'll get answers better than mine for sure but my understanding is the lower the temp the slower the aging process.
