Tampa's sour scene is ramping up...I remember hearing about OBB months ago, but didnt realize their beers have been on tap at Cycle recently. Picked up a growler of Gose last night when I stopped in for a beer.

Cycle brewer Eric Trinoskey has launched Orange Belt Brewing, specializing in Berliner weisse, barrel-aged sours and farmhouse ales (the brewery is at Pegs Cantina, where Cycle started). The first official releases from Orange Belt, raspberry and blackberry Berliners, were recently poured at Cycle, and several Gulfport businesses have featured Orange Belt brews as a guest tap.

Other recent releases include Lime Gose, a Blueberry-Coconut Gose, Strawberry Rhubarb Gose, and a collaboration with 7venth Sun called See How It Gose, brewed with orange zest and salt, and then generously dry hopped with Simcoe and Citra (currently on tap at Cycle)

This is pretty awesome. Really looking forward to some great sours from Eric. I missed all of these, but they look delicious:

Eric will continue to crush it. Great to see it starting to take off. Like I need another reason for a Tampa/ St Pete run...

Yet another reason to love the Cycle crew. Haven't had any of the brews yet but I've heard good things.

I missed the blueberry coconut at Cycle but is it still available elsewhere? I picked up a couple of growlers of see how it gose and they are solid! Looking forward to more by OBB!

As far as I know the blueberry coconut was only released at Cycle. I also thought the see how it gose is phenomenal.
