Not sure about the space/location, but Gunwhale CM was okay when they first opened. Not much going on in the area at the time. Cool I’ll dating room for sure. To expand into another area? I wasn’t sure at the time was a good move. Then GC took over Barley Forge venue. I haven’t crossed the street to GW since. No need to. Unless I want to go back in time. I’m still trying to go back in time to 1977. I’m across from the street from Gunwhales right now having lunch and Row2, Hill56. No need for GW’s.

 

Any word on Everywhere's timing to open?

 

My favorite spot in all of OC is Windsor Anaheim. Always amazing tap list.

 

Not sure on Ohana, but Beachwood HB location is happening. Construction going on there and signs up on the window saying Beachwood BBQ coming soon. Looking forward to both Beachwood and Green Cheeks new home.

Thx. Please keep us non social media folks advised on any updates. I’ve been to Gamecraft in Latina Hills a couple of times when they first opened. I might have to give these guys a visit again on the new location. There okay. I’m not into games or gaming. But their lagers and Pils are okay.

 

That’s what I was thinking. Nearby the Steelcraft venue.

 

Super cool. I've always thought the beers I've been able to get from them (via Windsor) have been halfway decent, so having a much closer location means I might be able to try a lot more. I'm too lazy to go to to Laguna Hills.

Was gonna say LH doesn’t have many Latinos, but I momentarily forgot about Via Lomas. GC has good beer, but a bit overpriced IMHO.

 

Most places these days are overpriced. If your gonna pay for overpriced beer why not at a place that had good beer. You could go across the street to Gunwhales or Bootlegless or Salty Bear?

I think OP is talking about Game Craft, not Green Cheek. I agree with OP that Game Craft is overpriced. Green Cheek is not.

Barley Forge was in the now Green Cheek spot. If we’re talking Costa Mesa location? OG Gunwhales is still across the street from GC. Unless Barley Fart had a 2nd location that I didn’t know about?
