I am throwing a beer share at my place next weekend. I am a little shocked with the line-up were going to have for a Spring/Summer Share. I am curious if there is even a good way to approach these huge line-up.

2015 Indeed Rum King [BA Stout]
2016 Surly Darkness [Russian Imperial Stout]
    2016 Surly Pentagram [Wild/Sour]
Rogue Sriracha Hot Stout [Chile Stout]
    Rogue Chipotle Ale [Chile Ale]
    2017 Surly Unbridled [Brett IPA]
2016 Deschutes Brandy Barrel Aged Abyss [BA Stout]
    2016 Boom Island Kriek [Lambic/Fruit]
2016 Bruery Terreux Sour in the Rye [Wild/Sour]
Rogue Double Chocolate Stout [Double/Imperial Stout]
    Rodenbach Alexander [Flanders Red]
    The Bruery White Oak [Wheatwine]
    Alesmith Grand Cru [Grand Cru]
Tin Whiskers Dynamo [Choco Orange Imp Stout]
The Bruery So happens it's Tuesday [BBA Imp Stout]
    Sam Adams Utopias [Ameican Strong]
Clown Shoes Loonidragon 2016 [Rus Imp Stout]
Boulevard Rye on Rye on Rye [Rye]

    Possibly:
    2016 Surly Damien [Black Ale]
Ballast Point Habanero Sculpin [IPA w/ Habanero
    Lift Bridge Mango Blonde

The easiest approach is simply to invite me to the sharing.

Everyone has different preferences when it comes to this but I personally would drink the dark beers first starting with lowest abv moving up then drink the sours and finish with Utopias.

Generally, the rule of thumb is to go from light/low to dark/high. However, my preference is to grab some lighter brews (Pils, Kolsch, Blondes, etc) to use as palate resetters, and mix it up: a stout, a pils, a sour, a blonde, a stout, etc. There is no true wrong way.

Maybe you've already got the rest figured out, but be sure folks rest and rinse their tongues every five or so samplings, otherwise beers start tasting the same. Also be sure to collect keys and/or provide rides. How many are coming?

Between the big beers, chiles, and hops no matter what you do it's gonna be a shit show. Good luck

Actually i am looking for order help because i wouldn't ever plan on adding Utopias to a tasting. I am shocked that someone is bringing it. I also don't typically drink chile beers.

I told people to plan a sober ride. Wife has offered to drop people off if they get dropped off here.

I agree with those who suggest order doesn't matter in this case. Just let folks choose what they want to drink and when they want to drink it.

Most of the beers after the first few are going to have little flavor resemblence to what they are actually like when drunk on their own. The folks who are there will have such exhausted tastebuds after their first few beers that for later beers they'll only be picking up the strongest flavors and even then those flavors will be changed in some way by what they drank earlier. Also, with so many beers on offer some sort of palate cleansing after a few beers isn't going to bring the tastebuds back to normal. So don't worry about order and just enjoy your bottle share as a drinking party where everyone has contributed to the party.

Best to take steps to ensure that everyone does in fact plan a sober ride home. Minnesota is one of those states that has a Dram Shop law under which you can be held legally responsible for the actions of intoxicated guests after they leave your party.

BEsides those that recommend DDs and lots of crash space...
with a lineup like that, number one, I hope this is an all-day tasting; don't try to cram all those into a couple hours.
If you don't get to everything, don't worry about it.
as far as order goes, I would say if possible keep styles more or less together, and groups of a few at a time. Lots of water and food. End with the sours and last of all Utopias.
Those are a lot of high-test beers, so take your time.

I'll never understand individual/group tastings. This would be palate overload for me, even with 2oz pours and palate cleansers. I couldn't appreciate 95% of these beers because it's just too much in one day. On their own I'm sure they are all fabulous.

You might as well start with the Utopias. I've heard it's "unlike any beer you will ever try and drinks more like a cognac". How can one appreciate a $300 MSRP beer if it's saved for the grand finale and all palates are rekt 8 hours ago?

In November, I had '16 BCBS followed by '16 Surly Darkness and liked Darkness more. My friend on the other hand said Darkness was "too hoppy". I had a '16 Darkness several weeks ago and it's even better.

Surly Unbridled is an amazing brett IPA. If you like it you might want to try Surly Misanthrope (Belgian-style saison/pale aged in white wine barrels). Cheers!

Utopias was my main concern. I was thinking first but I wasn't sure. I knew if I put it last, people would get less of the complexity out of it. Misanthrope is good but I only have one in my cellar. Not to mention I'm already bringing a Pentagram.

This only applies to Minors in a residents. It clearly states it doesn't apply to adults. Don't get me wrong I still make an effort to make sure everyone gets home safe. But if that article is acurate I have nothing to worry about because minors are not allowed during the share.

Treat the Utopias as a unique element that can bookend the tasting then. Kick things off with it in a formalized way. Once everyone has had a chance to try some, then get looser with everything else. The Utopias can be brought out again at the end of the night to bring things to a close.

Too many, too many different styles. Brett, fruit, wild, BA, Chili? Try three groups of three that are related.

Started with Utopia's. It was a share I brought stouts & a sour. I don't dictate what everyone brings. I had no set order just a simple randomness

First thing to do is take that crap from Rogue and get rid of it. Why mix it in with good beers.
Not sure how many people are coming but you might have a tough time Getting through all of those bottles. So I would move any beers you REALLY want to try up to the front of the list.

I've been to a couple of shares where a Utopia was opened. It is a nice finisher so hold that one towards the end.
