I recently acquired a can of OF blood orange purée. Can anyone say if this very pulpy or perhaps I can get away with not using a bag for filtering?

Since there’s nobod6 else,,,, I’d use it in the secondary, no bag, same with raspberries and one time, peaches.
As long as you keep the racking cane out of the fruit , I’d say rock on.

I’ve used that blood orange purée. I don’t recall that it was any different consistency than the other Vinter purées. I did not use a bag.

Just realized you said Oregon Fruit. I’ve only used Vintners. Therefore, my “advice” is useless.

As for consistency, I think used a bag with some other purees and was thinking with low pectin content in citrus this would be less sludgy. I was thinking about adding it to a keg but concerned about clogs.
