Oregonian in LA

    Los Angeles BAs--Will be staying in Newport Beach for a long weekend in late June and am looking for cans/bottles I can't get in Oregon. Other than Alpine and Golden Road, what else should I hunt for?

    Good luck finding Alpine, at least for the IPA's. I would go to Hi Times at try to get as many Ruination 10th as you can. There is also a Whole Foods right there in Fashion Island. I suggest driving to Alpine if you really want it. It is so worth the drive and you can also stop by San Diego and to a ton of other breweries including Stone and Alesmith and etc....

    i highly suggest trekking from newport to torrance to visit smog city brewing if you have time. they're draft only for the time being and make great stuff, not to mention beachwood bbq is on the way :wink:

    Yeah the only place you're going to find Alpine is at Alpine unless you set up a trade.

    i know this is anal but Newport Beach is not in LA. Cismontane Brewing is not terribly far from Newport. they make some amazing stouts. i 2nd Smog City. cool place. great beers
