Hi all, taking a trip down from New York, going to be staying in Orlando, but also spending some time in DeLand. Wondering if there are any good places to check out, be it bar or bottle shop, and what local breweries to try? Can one buy beer in a grocery store here, and if so, which to check out for a better craft selection? Cheers to you all.
Knightly Spirits is always a good place to start to buy packaged beer, as well as total wine and certain ABC stores. Good beer bars in downtown (my preference): Redlight Redlight (also started brewing their own brews) Thirsty Topher Tap and Grind Gnarly Barley (just south of downtown) Oblivion If you wanted to check out a local brewery to Orlando I would suggest Hourglass in Longwood, though they just moved and don't have a ton of their own brews on draft right now...
