I will be in Orlando and Port St. Lucie in September with family for a vacation in September. Luckily my brother In law and myself enjoy good beer! Any suggestions for beer to be on the look out for, or any good spots to grab a beer? (liqour stores, brewpubs, bars, etc.) I would obviously like to get my hands on anything Cigar City, or anything the great state of Florida has to offer that I cannot get here in Indiana! Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance, and CHEERS!
Vine & Barley in PSL always has a pretty good line up. They also sell bottles that you wont find else where including Cigar City. That's the only spot im familiar with in the area.
Always hit Vine and Barley when visiting also, take the short drive down to Jensen Beach and the House of Brews, always a nice lineup.
Zwanze Day 2013 will be at Redlight Redlight in Orlando Saturday September 14. That should be an amazing event. I am going to Orlando on September 22, so I'll miss it by a few days http://www.cantillon.be/br/3_21
We are arriving on the 15th so looks like I am missing out also. That would have been one hell of a way to start vacation.
I'll second the House of Brews in Jensen Beach....Brent is the best! I'm going there tonight cause 33 taps is never a bad idea.
Bring stuff from FFF to trade and you can probably have anything you want from anyone anywhere you go.
I would love to do that but I imagine any extra suitcase room in my bag will be filled with kids clothes. We shall see! I was lucky enough for my mother in law to snag Zombie Dust yesterday at the pub for me. They posted on fb yesterday and sold out about an hour ago.
Tequesta Brewing Company in Tequesta is about 30 minutes away from Port St. Lucie. Funky Buddha would be quite the haul, although worth it if you wanted to do a day trip. The lounge in Boca would be over an hour drive, and the brewery in Oakland Park would be like 90 minutes away. If you go, the new brewery in Oakland Park would be the best choice. Also there is Due South Brewing in Boynton Beach.
I never go to Port St. Lucie without going to House of Brews. Brent is awesome and so is their selection.
