Orpheus Brewing’s founder and brewmaster Jason Pellett announced today on social media that the brewery will close their current facility on Dutch Valley Road in Atlanta on April 23rd.

As the brewery closes down its current taproom and brewery, brewing operations will shift into the hands of Bevana, a third-party beverage company based in North Carolina. Bevana has already partnered with notable breweries like Unknown Brewing, D9, and Fatty’s Beer Works. Orpheus Brewing’s beers will continue to be available in-market with no disruptions.

I saw this yesterday on twitter. While it was a bit of a surprise, I wondered if they had been struggling a bit since COVID. He didn't have a really great location in my opinion either. One thing Jason noted that was not in the article is he is moving to Amsterdam over the summer and starting a new brewery called The Hollows.

Surprised to see this. Has been a staple brewery. Recall drinking them 10 years ago.

It surprised a lot of us locals too. The owner says they were doing fine but I don't know. The competition has really ramped up the last 3 to 4 years.
