Guys, I picked up used Orval goblet that looks like an original legit glass but I have noticed that the rim of the goblet is not perfectly smooth. What I mean... there is a slight wave to the rim and there are couple of small like dents in the rim. It does not look like the rim of the glass is chipped because the dents are covered in the silver border. The silver border on the rim is also not perfectly even. Is this kind of quality normal on these orval goblets? Is it maybe because they are made by hand and not mass produced? What can you tell me about this?

    Thanks

The dents are certainly not by design, but if washed (a lot) in a dishwasher or just banged around, this can happen. Still one of the best and most iconic beer vessels around. Cheers!

The small Orval goblets are a little harder to come by.
